Geneva Gwartney passed away on April 8, 2018 at home with her family beside her. She was looking forward to seeing the Lord and meeting up with John, her husband of 74 years.

Geneva lived a full life having worked early on as a switchboard operator and house wife. In 1962 she and John started J & G Electric and in 1970 she also also opened Pandora’s Box, a children’s store. After retiring in 1990, Geneva and John both enjoyed traveling and visiting family for their remaining years. Geneva and John touched a lot of lives and will be missed by many.

Geneva is survived by four children and their spouses, Judy Nickson and Ned of Denison Texas, Elizabeth (Betty) Lowney and Walter of Broomfield, Colorado, Becky Smith and L.M. Smith of Lincoln, New Mexico, and Bruce Gwartney and Ginger of Roswell, New Mexico.
She is also survived by one brother, Leonard Morris Witcher and his wife Eva Ann of Artesia, New Mexico and was preceded in death by one sister Olene Dollahon and one brother James D Witcher.
