Adela Della went to her home with her lord and savior Jesus Christ on August 15, 2014. Della was born to Ernest and Rita Montoya on October 7, 1970 in Roswell, New Mexico. She attended Roswell Public Schools graduating from Roswell High in 1989. Della lived her entire life in Roswell and most recently had started working at Tabosa Development Services. Della was a caregiver at heart. Whether she was caring for her siblings, her family, or her clients at work, she was always nurturing and helpful to all. She was a generous and loving person to all her family and friends. She was totally committed in her faith and belief in Jesus Christ.

Della is survived by her loving daughter Ashly Nicole Montoya of Roswell, her parents Ernest and Rita Montoya also of Roswell. In addition, she is survived by her siblings, Luana Dutchover, Richard Susie Montoya, Fernando Tonia Montoya, Rosie Jose Charles, Ruby Montoya, Jeremy Montoya, Chris Montoya, Bobby Joe Montoya, Promise Montoya, Katherine Montoya, Sharae Montoya, Ernest Montoya Jr., and Isaiah Montoya. Also her Grandfather Dick Montoya, numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and cousins. Della was predeceased by her sister Rita Montoya, her Grandmother Elisa Reyes, her Grandfather Fernando Reyes and her Grandmother Josie Montoya.
Funeral services are set for 9 am, Thursday August 21, 2014 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 501 N. Sycamore with, her uncles, Pastors Richard Montoya and Lawrence Sanchez presiding. Pallbearers will be Richard Montoya, Jr., Edward Valenzuela, Gino Romero, Larry Sanchez, Gilbert John Dutchover, and Jason Smokey. Honorary Pallbearers are Richard Montoya, Frances Montoya, Michael Koonce, and Joe Sandoval. Graveside services will follow at South Park Cemetery. After the burial the family will receive guests at a reception at the First Church of the Nazarene, 501 N. Sycamore.
