Life well Lived
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Albert Dale Alexander Jr., affectionately known as Chip or Chipper, on February 19, 2025, at the age of 60. Albert finally met his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Albert was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend to so many. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished moments, and memories.
Born on July 14, 1964, in Roswell, NM. Albert was a brother of one of the 10 children of Dolores Alexander and Albert Alexander. Throughout his life he worked in several security jobs, including a long career at the Chaves County Detention Center and Juvy. Albert was the most amazing person, caring for three children and his wife Terri Alexander. Albert was a music enthusiast. He grew up participating in choir and band when he was younger and was a music director at Highland Baptist Church and 2 others.
Albert survived by his three children, Ginie Alexander and her husband Pete Madero; Jeremy Alexander and his wife Shelby Rosser; and Jamie Alexander, as well as his wife Terri Alexander. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Sophia Madero; Pete Madero Jr.; Faye Madero; Mikayla Mills; Konnor Shoufelt; and Skyler Shoufelt.
He is also survived by his brother Brigham Paul Tuttle and his wife Juanita, as well as sisters Laurinda Leverett; Lena Price and her husband Mark; Wendy Alexander; Mary Ritchey and her husband Edward; Melissa Bezouche and her husband Hassan; Theresa Winnen and her husband Gary; and numerous nephews and nieces who he loved very much.
Albert is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dannie Lee Lightfoot and Jewell James Lightfoot. He is also preceded in death by his mother, Dolores Lightfoot Alexander, and his father Albert Dale Alexander; His sister Deborah Thompson; And his brother Steve Tuttle as well as many others.
Those who knew Albert, knew that he was a die-hard Dallas Cowboy’s football fan “Go Cowboy’s”. He enjoyed many years of softball with friends and family. He loved fishing and being with family. His presence from this earth will be sorely missed, we rejoice knowing that he is with our Lord in Heaven. Rest in peace Albert, we will always carry your memory in our hearts.
There will be a luncheon held in Alberts memory at 12pm at Highland Baptist Church and the services will follow at 1pm on March 8, 2025.
