Alice Marquez

MARQUEZ, ALICE Alice Marquez of Roswell, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011.
A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. at La Grone Funeral Chapel during viewing.

The Resurrection Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at St. Johns Catholic Church, Fr. Juan Antonio Gutierrez officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Alice was born August 31, 1930 in Corona, New Mexico to Julian and Maria Lueras. Both parents preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her loving sisters Rosa Lopez and Ernestina Griego, as well as a son, Andrew Marquez and a grandson Demean Marquez.

Alice is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Robert daughters Esther Lopez, Diana Marquez and Nadean Marquez Andi Williams .She is also survived by her siblings Joe Lueras Elva,Manuel Lueras Alice, Julian Lueras Jr. Rita , Sammy Lueras Florey , Sally Allen, Lupe Moraga David,Bernice Candelaria Ray, Nora Marquez, Jane Lueras and Clara Griego Nick, Raymond Lueras. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 greatgrandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Roman Berrones, Rey Berrones, Juan Ray Candelaria, Sammy Lueras, Jr. Mario Griego, and Gary Allen. Honorary Pallbearer is Pete Griego.
