Alma Mcdaniel

MCDANIEL, ALMA C. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at South Park Cemetery for Alma C. McDaniel, age 100, of Roswell who passed away on March 17, 2014. Dr. Doug Mills of First United Methodist Church will officiate.
Alma was born August 27, 1913 in Bunker Hill, Illinois to John Philip Sauerwein and Emma Louise Hyde. They both have preceded her in death as well as eight siblings including: Arthur Sauerwein, Paul Sauerwein, Walter Sauerwein, Elise Lesemann, John, Celia Sauerwein,Verna Sauerwein.
Alma married Delbert Ray McDaniel in 1955 in Taos, New Mexico. He also has preceded her in death in 1990.
Alma was active Eastern Star member for over 50 years. She was a homemaker and 52year resident of Roswell. Alma was an avid gardener, oil painter, and took great pride in her home in Roswell. She will be missed greatly by her family friends.
She is survived by two sons: Sidney Zarges and his wife Sue of El Paso, TX and Floyd McDaniel and his wife Jane of Plano, TX and daughter: Sara Cericola and her husband Fred of Albuquerque, NM eight grandchildren: Patricia Cericola and her husband David, Frederick Cericola and Mark Cericola and his wife Berrin Cindy Zarges Griego and her husband Matt, Kristi Zarges Finn and her husband Billy, Julie Zarges Gimenez and her husband Anibal, Garrett McDaniel, Haley McDaniel grandchildren: Bevan, Aubree, Kelsey, Kalib, SueConsuela, El, and Ozan.
