Alma Pena was a mother, wife, leader, prayer warrior and a woman who was called to serve Jesus as the example. She entered this world on Thursday, June 30, 1955 in San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico, born to Maria de Los Angeles Ritchie and Juan Victor Ritchie. Alma was raised in a farm with 6 sisters and 6 brothers. She was one of the oldest but she worked hard helping her mother around the farm and taking care of her siblings. For Christmas, she would save her money and buy everyone something to make sure they all woke up the next morning with presents. This is one of many stories of her unconditional love. Alma served in the Apostolic Assembly and helped many churches from the ground up throughout New Mexico and Arizona. One thing she was always passionate for was to serve the Lord and bring anyone to church to know Jesus like she did. She touched many hearts throughout her time here and will continue to do so.
She is survived by her son Luis Ritchie and step-son Ruben Pena, daughter-in-law Selena Beltran, Grandchild, Zayla Ritchie, her husband Johnny Pena, mother Maria de Los Angeles Ritchie, brothers and sisters, Dora Ritchie, Raymundo Ritchie, Juan Manuel Ritchie, Rosa Hilda Michel, Ana Maria Ritchie, Victor Ritchie, Concepcion Chan, Gerardo Ritchie, Cecila Ritchie, Jesus Alberto Ritchie, Carlos Ritchie and 30 nephews and nieces.
