Alonso Pinon Loya, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the age of 68 years old. It is never easy to say goodbye, but we do not only mourn the absence of our beloved Alonso but also celebrate his life and his legacy. Alonso meant so much to his family that it's hard to put into words how much Alonso will be missed and what a positive impact he had on each and every one of us. Although we are sad to see him leave us, we can be joyful in the knowledge that he is now at peace and his soul has finally gone home to be with our God.
Alonso was born in Cienega de Loya, Chihuahua, Mexico to his parents, Florentino Loya and Eva Pinon. Alonso loved to spend time in the kitchen with his mother as a child and, therefore, grew up to be a wonderful cook. Alonso catered for many family events and those of you who were close to him know how delicious his asado was. Since childhood, Alonso was raised with discipline and a hard work ethic. Alonso often shared stories, humor, and a big smile with everyone he met. He spent many years training racehorses at Bueno Suerte ranch, and many years dairy farming. Alonso had several businesses and excelled as an entrepreneur. He met his wife Savina Perez in 1988 and married on May 25th,1993.
Spending time with his friends, going dancing and fishing were some of his favorite hobbies. As soon as anyone mentioned going fishing, Alonso was ready with his fishing pole and tackle box in hand. Family was an important component in Alonso’s life, he loved to be surrounded by his grandchildren. If anyone in the family needed a helping hand or a word of advice, Alonso welcomed them with open arms.
Alonso is survived by his wife Savina Perez Loya; his son, Joshua Perez and wife Katherine Perez; daughter, Gabriela Nettie Loya. His grandchildren, Aubriana Loya, Madeline Loya, Stetson Loya, Delano Perez, Hailey Perez and Laila Perez; sister-in-law, Rita Perez and husband Floyd Osborn; niece, Billie Jene Montano and husband Anthony Montano.
Other family members include his brothers Erasmo, Hidelio, Fidencio, Chago, Tino, and other numerous family members and friends.

As we seek and receive comfort at this time, the immediate family would like to let you all know how much we truly appreciate those of you who come to pay your respects, and we warmly thank you for your support and condolences.
