Alva Biggs

BIGGS, ALVA LEE Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Thursday, April 29, 2010 at South Park Cemetery for Alva Lee Biggs, age 88, of Roswell, who passed away April 27, 2010. Rev. Gorton Smith with First United Methodist Church will officiate.

Alva was born on July 22, 1921 to Walter and Viola Biggs in Atwood, ILL. They have preceded him in death.

Alva married Martha E. Goodson on September 15, 1973, in Roswell. She also has preceded him in death.

Alva served his country in the United States ArmyAirforce. He retired from the Transwestern Pipeline. Alva was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by a son: Gary Lee Biggs and his wife Ann of Roswell a daughter: Marjorie Ann Biggs of Corpus Christi, TX three grandchildren: Kimberly Purcell of Roswell, Michael Lee Biggs of Ft. Bragg, NC and Shila Lynch of Austin, TX five great grandchildren.
