Anastacio Nevarez

Anastacio Nevarez went to be with Our Lord on February 28, 2016 surrounded by his loved ones.
A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 A.M., Thursday March 3, 2016 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, March 3, 2016 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Memory Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Anastacio Nevarez was born March 29, 1924 in Hatchita New Mexico to Tranquelino and Romana Nevarez.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life and mother of his children Graviela Nevarez and both his parents. He is survived by his sons: Selerino Nevarez, Paul Nevarez and his wife Jane, Conrado Nevarez, Arnuflo Nevarez, Guadalupe Nevarez, Anastacio Nevarez Jr., Joe and wife Angie, and daughters: Christina Nevarez, Emma Nevarez and Alisia Nevarez and husband Andy Sanchez.
Also surviving him are his brothers Jose Luis Nevarez, Perfecto Cheto Nevarez, Marcelo Nevarez, Lupe Nevarez and sisters Bartola Nevarez and Leonides Martinez. And brother-in-law Manuel Lopez, 15 grand children and 44 great -grand children.
Anastacio wore many hats. He worked mostly as a farm laborer working the fields in Dexter, Hagerman and East Grand Plains. He also worked on the rails for the railroad, as a meat packer for Glovers Packing and New Mexico Highway Dept, and various road construction companies.
He was a great provider. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Pallbearers will be Paul Nevarez, Arnuflo Nevarez, Joe Nevarez, Conrado Nevarez, Alex Sanchez, Roman Sanchez.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Selerino Nevarez, Anastacio Nevarez Jr., Guadalupe Nevarez, Javier Martinez Jr., Sammy Alvarado, Pete Hernandez, John Hernandez
Give Courage and Faith to those who are bereaved,
That they may have Strength to meet the days ahead
In comfort of a reasonable and holy Hope
In the Joyful expectation of eternal life with those they Love.
