Anita Myers

MYERS, ANITA FAY - A graveside service for Anita Fay Myers, age 89, will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Memory Lawn Memorial Park. Anita passed away Friday, February 8, 2019.

Anita was born January 24, 1930 to Ernest and Ruth Dodson in Hagerman, NM. She was of the Baptist faith. Anita was the store manager of the Green Stamp Store in Roswell for 20 years.

Anita was preceded in death by Marvin "Bobby" Myers; her parents; brothers, George Dodson, Joe Wallace Dodson, sister, "Doris" Erenstine Dodson Smith, daughter, Marilyn Conrad Gillispie (Myers); several nieces and nephews.

Anita's memory will be cherished by her son, Marvin R. Myers of Roswell; son Anthony Myers (Stephanie) of Roswell; Tonya Roach (Tommy) of Victoria, TX; Sharon Peters (Jack) of Bridgeport, TX; Marvin Carl Myers of Roswell; Julie Patton; brother, Bill Dodson of California and nieces and nephews. Anita was blessed with 4 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.

You never went hungry when you came to Mrs. Myers, she would cook for a crew and enjoy every minute and spending time with her family. Her biggest joy was being with her great-grandson, Tyler Conrad, they maybe just sitting and talking or enjoying a sonic together, she didn't care he was her life. Anita will be dearly missed by her family and most of all we will miss the love she had for us and the care she gave. Love you.
