Ann Allensworth

ALLENSWORTH, ANNA G. Our mother and friend, Anna G. Allensworth, made the journey to be with her Lord and Savior eternally walking in His presence on Easter Sunday, resurrection day, April 8, 2012 at 5:33 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Central Nazarene Church at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012. Pastor Randy Elftman will officiate with interment to follow at South Park Cemetary. Please join her family in celebrating her life.

Anna was born December 8, 1924 to Cecil and Debbie Foyles. They have both preceded her in death as well as her first husband, Sandy Show who was killed during WWII while serving in Italy as a SSG pilot. Also preceding her in death were her second and third husbands, Robert Allen and Cliff Allensworth, her brother, Bill Foyles and her friend and fianc, Ray Willey.

Anna is survived by her son, John Allen, of Albany, LA daughters, Sandra Simensen of Ft. Pierre, SD, Donna Fuqua of Carlsbad and Debbie Evenstad of Santa Teresa, NM and soninlaws, Ken Simensen, Jim Fuqua and Joe Evenstad. Also surviving family members are sister, Bertha Hall, of Morgantown, WVA. Sisterinlaw Silvia Foyles of McClellandtown, WVA, nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren, and special friends, Kenda Willey and Keena Horn.

Anna was a nurse for 52 years and a member of the Central Church of the Nazarene where she served as Missionary President, Sunday School teacher and Sunday School Superintendent. She was a member of the Eastern New Mexico Medical Center Auxillary from March 1992 through February 2004 volunteering 2473 hours. The Auxillary provides a scholarship for nursing students and the family asked that in lieu of flowers donations be given to Easter New Mexico Medical Center Auxillary at 405 W. Country Club Rd. Roswell, NM 88201 in memory of Anna.
