Anna Belt

Anna Mae Farnham-Belt, age 103, passed away Wednesday February 10, 2016. A burial for Anna will be held at South Park Cemetery 3:00 P.M., Thursday February 11, 2016 at South Park Cemetery.

She was born December 5, 1912 in Pittsfield Pennsylvania to Edward Farnham and Ree Oma Januk-Farnham. Anna was raised by her Aunt Alice. Which I think was her dad's sister. She had a brother Fred. Then a time came that Anna met Don Belt, Mom said they met at a birthday party. Don't know how long Anna and Don went together be for they got married. Anna was 22. Anna and Don got married in Newark, Ohio May 7, 1934. Anna & Don moved to New Mexico in 1945 from Ohio. They lived in Clovis before moving to Roswell remained until death. Anna played the tambourine at the Joy Center back in 1980. Anna was in Senior Olympics for several years. Square dance. She liked to ride horses, motorcycles; she also liked to play horseshoes with Bill & Kap. Kap Hart came in to her life after the passing of her husband. Kap & Anna did a lot of traveling, Anna worked at the Brown Maid shop done a lot of bead work. She played a lot of cards at the Roswell Adult Center.

Don preceded her in death on September 19, 1974.

Anna is survived by 3 sons, Charles Sines and wife Anna, (from previous relationship). Three daughters Anne, Beth, Cathy. James and wife Carolyn, 1 son (Michael) deceased, Terri, Joanna, Betty Rodreqie and husband Tino; 1 daughter Sheena, 1 son Dean, Nancy & husband Bill Kilgore 1 daughter Sheila, 1 son Mark. Robert wife Francisca 3 daughters Julie, Jessica, Stephanie. Anna has numerous great grandchildren & great- great children.

There will be no viewing services per Anna's request. Anna live a long and happy life.
