PATTESON, ANN -- A Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M., today, October 10, 2006 at St. Peters Catholic Church, for Ann Patteson, age 91, of Roswell, who passed away October 8, 2006 at her home at Villa Del Rey. The Resurrection Mass will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at St. Peters Catholic Church. Father Benedict Begin, OFM will conduct the service. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.
Anna Loretta was born August 16, 1915 in Dallas, Texas, to Patrick J. and Margaret Moore Sheehan, and she married Bernard Pat Patteson on August 26, 1935 in Dallas. He preceded her in death in 1978
Survivors include a son, Tom Patteson of Roswell, 4 daughters, Margaret Ingram of Monument, Colorado, Patsy McGinty and her husband Pat of Canyon, Texas, Mary Jane Madison and her husband, Richard of Roswell, and Carol Ruminski and her husband, Ron of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, and a sister, Margaret Riley of Roswell.
Ann was a member of the St. Peters Catholic Church Parish, and a member of he Altar and Rosary Society. She had been a member of the Altrusa Club and a PTA member of Missouri Avenue School for 38 years, a member of the Christian Womens Club, and a member of Share The Word Bible Study Group, Catholic Daughters of America. Ann volunteered for many years at St. Peters Community Kitchen, and St. Marys Auxillary.
Ann had been a long-time employee of St. Marys Hospital, as the Purchasing Agent.
Ann was a blessing to her friends and family, she cooked, sewed and most importantly she prayed constantly for her friends, family and for peace throughout the world.
Mrs. Pattesons grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that friends donate to the Community Kitchen, 111 E. Deming, Roswell, NM, 88203, or the charity of your choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
