Annie Evans

March 23, 1936 — April 26, 2014

EVANS, ANNIE PEARLGraveside services for Pearl Evans, 78, who passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014, are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Friday, May 2nd, 2014, at South Park Cemetery. Pastor Lyman Graham of Narrow Way Ministries will officiate. Pearl will lie in state from 37 pm on Thursday, May 1st at LaGrone Funeral Chapel

Pearl was born on March 23, 1936 in Three Rivers, Texas to Cleo and Jessie Lee. She loved sewing, cooking, gardening and reading. She was a very hard worker helping her husband in and around their home, never complaining and always willing to do whatever needed to be done. Her children and grandchildren were very special to her. She was known as Doctor Mom to all her family, always knowing just the right thing to do. She loved her Church family and was always willing to help out no matter what it took. No lady had any greater faith than Pearl.

Pearl is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Willie Bill Lee of Roswell, two sisters, Louise Burnett and Billy Johnson of Belin, New Mexico and a son, John L. Smith of Byers, Colorado.

She is survived by her husband, James Jim Evans, two sons, Monnie Smith and James Evans, Jr. of Tucson, Arizona, one daughter, Patricia Gail Chambers of Roswell, one sister, Gracy Hooser of San Diego, California, two brothers, Louis Lee and Alfred Lee of Hereford, Texas. In addition, she is survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

No words I can write can say how much you are missed. Our heats are heavy, but, we should take comfort in one certain fact, that Pearl is dancing with the Angels now.
