Anthony Boris

BORIS, ANTHONY Graveside services are scheduled for 9:30 a.m., Thursday, July 1, 2010 at South Park Cemetery for Anthony Boris, age 88, of Roswell, who passed away June 28, 2010. Pastor Rick Hale of Grace Community Church will officiate with honors being provided by the Roswell Veterans Honor Guard.

Anthony was born October 27, 1921 to Paul and Carolyn Boris in Manhattan, NY. They both have preceded him in death, as well as a brother, William Joseph Boris.

Anthony is survived by nieces: Carol McGuire of Roswell, NM and Bonnie Hunley sister inlaw: Odessa Boris of Mesa, AZ, and 5 great nieces and nephews.

Anthony was a Depot Man for the New York City Subway. He has been a resident of Roswell, NM since 1970. He served his country with pride in WWII in the U.S. Army and was awarded the American Theater Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and World War II Victory Medal.
