Arlie Moore

MOORE, SR. ARLIE, D. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Monday, November 1, 2010, at South Park Cemetery, for Arlie D. Moore, Sr., age 87, of Roswell, who passed away October 27, 2010. Rev. Paul Johnson will Officiate, assisted by the Roswell Masonic Low Twelve.

Arlie was born March 19, 1923 in Mason, Oklahoma.

His Mother Laura Tilley and Father William Wallace Moore who preceded him in death.

Arlie married Anita R. Schulz on May 1, 1962 in Roswell. She survives him at the family home.

Arlie was a Staff Sgt. In the United States Air Force for 21 years. He served his country in WWII in England and Germany. He was a member of the St. Marks Luthern Church and a member of the Roswell Masonic Lodge 18.

Survivors include his children Jerry Janow of Roswell, NM, Monica McKinney of Drumright, OK., Ramona Burton of Albuquerque, NM, and Sharon Nelson of Tijeras, NM, and Arlie D. Moore Jr. of Columbus, IN twelve grandchildren Eric Angell, Thomas Janow, Kristopher Janow, Ronald Janow, Jerry Janow, Marlana McKinney, Holly and Tera Burton Schawn and Garrett Iverson deceased , Deanna Moore, De Vawn Moore, Jamie Moore, John Moore and numerous great grandchildren.
