Barbara Cresswell

CRESSWELL WOODWARD, BARBARA Barbara Cresswell, age 95, of Roswell, passed away on November 7, 2014. No funeral services will be held.
Barbara was born March 5, 1919 in Zanesville, Ohio to Joseph and Fannie Garges Brown.
She is survived by a son Peter Woodward and his wife, Shara, and a granddaughter, Breeze Woodward of Chandler, AZ.
She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, William Woodward and second husband, John Cresswell.
Barbara grew up and lived in Ohio where she graduated from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. She taught health and physical education for 30 years, 25 of those years in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, before moving to Roswell, NM, where she became a volunteer at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center accumulating 30 years of service. Barbara was a charter member of Pecos Valley Quilters and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Roswell. Barbara was a quiet lady who enjoyed reading and professional baseball.
