PULLEY, BENA -- Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 14, 2007, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Bena Pulley, age 87, of Roswell, who passed away December 8, 2007 in Las Cruces. Pastor Max Perkins and Dr. Onsy Whicker will officiate and Rev. Mark Bristow will officiate with interment to follow at South Park Cemetery.BRBRBena was born April 25, 1920 in Van Horn, Texas, to Melven and Carrie Bristow. Both parents preceded her in death, as well as her husband Lowell Pulley, a daughter, Janna Miles, a sister Dora Lee Shipman , a brother F.H. Bristow, and a great grandchild Brittany Perkins.BRBRBena married Lowell Pulley on August 8, 1938 in Van Horn, Texas.BRBRShe is survived by a son: Jerry Lee Pulley and his wife Elizabeth of Bastrop, Texas; a daughter: Darla Ann Perkins and her husband Max of Las Cruces, New Mexico; a sister: Melva Louise DAlmeida and her husband Manuel of Roswell, NM; a sister-in-law: Dorothy Bristow of Monahans, Texas; brother-in-law: Tommy Shipman of Brownfield, TX; seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.BRBRBena was a homemaker. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
