Bertha Greenwood

GREENWOOD, BERTHA CATHERINE -- Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel, for Bertha Catherine Greenwood, age 88 of Roswell who passed away May 20, 2007 at her home. Rev. Cecil Kimberlin, Hospice Chaplain will conduct the service. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Bertha was born February 21, 1919 in Bandera, Texas to Robert Greene and Sara Rathbone Miller.

She was married to Arlie James Greenwood, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include 2 daughters; Betty Wilbur and Ida Ledbetter and her husband Bill all of Roswell. Also surviving is two sister-in-laws both named Ruby Miller of Roswell, grandson, Arlie Lee Ledbetter, and 2 great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Evan Ledbetter.

Mrs. Greenwood had been a resident since 1934, and was of the Protestant faith. She was a homemaker.
