COPELAND, BETTY L. -- A Memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Betty L. Copeland, age 69, of Roswell, who passed away August 16, 2009 at Mission Arch Care Center. Rev. Cecil Kimberlin, Chaplain of Vista Care Hospice will conduct the service.BRBRBetty was born April 27, 1940 in Hobbs, New Mexico, to J. T. and Nadine Myers Watson. Both parents preceded her in death;BRBRShe married Don Copeland on Feb. 1, 1975 in Roswell. He survives her at the family home.BRBROther survivors include a son; Gerald Yingling of Roswell, a daughter; Amber Camper and fianc, Nathaniel Grammer of Roswell. Also surviving is a former son-in-law, Kris Camper of Capitan, NM, and 2 sisters; Rita Davis of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Quita Mahoney of Tillamook, Oregon.BRBRBetty had been employed by the State of New Mexico with Human Services.
