Betty Muccie

MUCCIE, BETTY L. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 7, 2014 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Betty L. Muccie, age 65, of Roswell who passed away on February 3, 2014. Pastor Lawrence Lovato will officiate.

Betty was born April 14, 1948 in Neptune, New Jersey to Elwood Van Nest and Ruth Fleck, they have preceded her in death.

Betty married Raymond Muccie in New Jersey on January 25, 1969. He also has preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son: Raymond Muccie and his wife Angie of Waco, TX one daughter: Marjorie Muccie of Venus, TX and three grandchildren: Angelica Chavez, Lauren Rae Muccie and Ysabella Muccie.

Betty was a caring nurse, loving mother, Nana and friend. Her granddaughters say shes the best Nana ever. She had a kind and loving heart and she always contributed to numerous school fundraisers. She had a great sense of humor and always tried to lift others up around her when they were down. She will be remembered most for her strength through adversity, her caring nature and her unending love for her children and grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bill Wells, Marc Nason, Rick Bently, Alex Lovato, Justin Powell and Jody Trammell.
