ROWLETT, BETTY LEE -- Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at Memory Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, for Betty L. Rowlett, age 84, of Roswell, who passed away April 15, 2007 at her home. Rev. Rick Hale of Grace Community Church will conduct the service.

Betty was born January 6, 1923 in Pleasant Grove, Texas to Henry and Mollie Reaves Denton.

She married Homer Carl Rowlett, Jr. on April 14, 1945 in Clovis, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on March 26, 1988. After Carl passed away, she awaited the time when she could join him.

Survivors include a daughter, Carlene Green of Roswell, and a son, Larry Rowlett and his wife, Renee of Roswell She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; James Green and his wife Patricia of Granbury, Texas, Coty Cain of Kuwait, and Rachel Watson of Roswell; and 2 great-grandchildren, Chase Green and Mark Dade both of Granbury, Texas

Betty had been a Roswell resident for 40 years, and was a member of South Main Church of Christ.

Pallbearers will be Terry Freeman, Shawn Hohner, Randy Miller, Jake Padilla, Adam Chavez, Kelly Ortega. Honorary Pallbearers will be Pete DeBorde, Henry Jennings, Select Milk Producers Employees.

Friends may make memorials in Bettys name to Vista Care-Hospice.
