Bonnie Stout

STOUT, GENE -- Gene Stout went to be with the Lord on October 21, 2007. He passed away at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Services will be Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at 10:00 AM at LaGrone Funeral Chapel, with Robert Holcomb of the First Baptist Church officiating. Military Rites will be provided by the Roswell Veterans Honor Guard, with burial at South Park Cemetery.BRBRGene was born April 4, 1923 in DeQueen, Arkansas, to John Franklin and Edna Smith Stout. Both parents preceded him in death, as well as a son, Perry Gene Stout, who died in 2002.BRBRHe married Simmie Leah Boots Johnson on December 2, 1946 in Texarkana, Arkansas. She survives him at the family home.BRBROther survivors include a brother, Jess W. Stout of Amarillo, Texas and a grandson, Brandon Corey Stout.BRBRGene had served his country and retired after 23 years from the U.S. Air Force, where he was a Master Sgt. He also spent twenty years as Director of Maintenance for the City of RoswellBRHe was a member of the First Baptist Church, and Morgan Nelsons Sunday School Class, was a Past President of the Roswell Downtown Lions Club, a member of the Roswell Country Club Golf Association.
