Carol Franklin

FRANKLIN, CAROL SUE - Services are scheduled for Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel at 2:00 P.M., for Carol Sue Franklin, age 76, of Roswell, who passed away March 17, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM. Pastor Gerry Chavez, of Christ Church will officiate.

Carol was born February 7, 1931, in Rogers, New Mexico, to Joseph Boykin and Molly Essie Baker Boykin who have preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son, Danny Stringer and wife Cheryl, of Temecula, CA.; daughters Jackie Cecil of Roswell, Carol and husband Jesse Valverde of Denver City, TX and Paula Jan and husband Jimmy McCullough of Boerne, TX.; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, and life long companion, Mike Flowers of Roswell.

Carol was a retired school teacher who taught in the Roswell and Hagerman schools for 30 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Carol belonged to the Eagles Lodge and the Newcomers.

Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
