Carol was born in Batesville, Mississippi on April 18, 1947 to Tweed Keller and Carolyn Agnes Marsh. She married the love of her life Buckly Dill Zumwalt at the Nogal Presbyterian Church on July 22, 1967. She worked various retail ventures but, most of all, her greatest accomplishments are in being an amazing wife, mom, sister, grandma, and great-grandma. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family, she also enjoyed her membership with the Sierra Blanca Swingers, Square Dance Club and The Enchanted Squares Square Dance Club. She loved to sew square dance outfits with friends, loved taking pictures of family and lots of other things. She was a member of Nogal Presbyterian Church, an active member with the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Roswell, NM, and with the Nogal Ranchmen's Camp meeting. Carol was a number one Elvis fan as well as an Elvis memorabilia collector.

She is preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

She is survived by her husband Buckly Zumwalt of the home of Roswell, NM; son Curtis Zumwalt; daughter Kaylin Dross and her husband Randy; grandchildren Daniel, Heather, Tyler, Raelin, Cody, Jerrid, and Colton; great-grandchildren Savannah and Kristal; sisters Lynda Marsh and Peggy Najar; mother-in-law Phyllis Zumwalt; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

Three words that sum up Carol's life are: Faith - Hope - Love.

Memorial donations may be made to the Nogal Ranchmen's Camp Meeting P.O. Box 86, Nogal, NM, 88341.

A special thank you from the family to Gentiva Hospice, as well as the Kymera Cancer Center's doctors, nurses, and staff.
