MILLER, BRIANMemorial services will be held 4:00 P.M., Friday, August 10, 2007 at Church on the Move for Brian Miller, age 44, of Roswell, who passed away, Monday, August 6, 2007. Minister Jake Taylor will officiate.
Brian was born November 17, 1962 in Roswell to Charles and Mary Miller, they have preceded him in death.
Brian married Noemi Guerrero on September 26, 1998 in Roswell. She survives him at the family home.
Brian is also survived by his three daughters: Jennifer Noles, Shelby Miller and Kiska Bodiford Miller; Aunts: Jessie Hastings, Hazel Savage, and Darlene Wyche all of Roswell; Uncles: William H. Miller of Alamogordo, NM, James D. Miller of Arlington, Texas, Robert W. Miller of Glendale, AZ and Donald Yowell of Roswell and several cousins.
Brian attended Eastern New Mexico University of Roswell in the early 80s. He received an Associates Applied Science Degree in Petroleum Products, then in 1997 an Associates Applied Science in Nursing. Brian moved to Denver City, TX in the 80s and worked for Shell Oil. He became a volunteer Fire Fighter and Paramedic in 1989 to 1994. He worked for Yokum County Hospital as a nurse assistant in 1993 to 1994, Carlsbad Fire Department from 1992 to 1993. He was a Registered Nurse at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in the newborn nursery and the Emergency Department starting in 1998 and joined Southwest Medevac 2 in 2006.
Brians hobbies were riding motorcycles, attending car shows, photography, country music and too numerous to mention. Brian was proud to be a flight nurse. He knew the risks and accepted them every day. He passed away doing what he loved to do.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Elkins, Tim Hodges, Rex Glenn, Eli Brown, Chris Booth and Wil Hoggard, Honorary Pallbearers will be S.W. Medevac 2, Jeremy and Pam Rodriguez, Jerry Gilcrease, Chris Davis, Darwin Crone and Shawn Elkins and all of his close friends.
