Charles Ward

WARD, CHARLES -- Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M., Monday, October 2, 2006, at South Park Cemetery, for Charles Ward, age 87 of Roswell, who passed away September 28, 2006 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Pastor Phillip Grassie of the First Christian Church will conduct the service.

Charles was born November 30, 1918 in Lubbock, Texas, to Charles and Vera Lloyd Ward.

He married Mildred Killgo on December 11, 1938 in Marietta, Oklahoma. She survives him at the family home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Sharon W. Boyko and her husband William of Nathrop, Colorado, one grandson, Jerry Aguren and a great-granddaughter, Alexis Aguren.

Mr. Ward had served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy. He had been in the HeatingAir Condition Construction business. He was a member of the First Christian Church, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the York Rite, the Scottish Rites, and Shriners.

Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
