MILNER, CHRISTIAN WAYNE CHRIS The family of Christian Wayne Chris Milner of Roswell celebrated with joy the gift of his life at a private graveside celebration held on Thursday, October 18, 2007. Chris was welcomed home by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 15, 2007.

Chris was born in Roswell on July 17, 1969 to proud parents, Wayne and Zoe Ann Milner. He grew up in Roswell and attended El Capitan Grade School where he won numerous awards and ribbons in the City Wide Science Fair every year. He played Little League football, was a member of the Boy Scouts, and at Sierra Middle School was a member of the EagleMen, a vocal group of 8th graders who were chosen by audition, and was also chosen a Teen of the Month by the Elks Club.

Chris was a member of the First Baptist Church of Roswell and loved the summers he spent in Kanakuk, a Christian camp for boys in Branson, Missouri. He was a 1987 graduate of Goddard High School, attended New Mexico State University and graduated from the University of New Mexico. Chris pursued a career in the investment field and worked in Albuquerque as a registered representative of Morgan Stanley Dean Witter,

Chris is survived by his parents; his maternal grandmother, Zoe Allred, of Roswell; brother Steven Milner of Red River, New Mexico; and sisters Melissa Proctor and her husband, Mark, and Pam Schultz and her husband, Jim, all of Roswell. Also surviving are his three nieces and nephew who were his pride and joy; Michela Proctor, Madison Proctor, Kristen Schultz and Rebecca Schultz.

Also surviving are his uncle, Don Allred, of Colorado Springs, Colordo; aunts Marlayne Ribbach and her husband, Jack, of Roswell, and Pat Smith of Phoenix, Arizona; and cousins Kim and Jennifer Smith and Mark Ribbach.

Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, H.F. Hank Allred and his paternal grandparents, W.H. Pete and Millicent Millie Milner.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Assurance Home of Roswell.

Arrangements were under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Home.
