Christina Rope

CHRISTINA MARIE GRASS ROPEGraveside services are scheduled to follow chapel services at 2:00pm, Wednesday July 23, 2008 at the LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Christina Marie Grass Rope, age 29, of Lake Arthur, who passed away July 19th, 2008.

Christina was born December 30, 1978 in Orange, California to Terry and Troy Poitra of Winslow, AZ who survive their daughter.

Christina married Lewis Grass Rope on August 26, 2004 in South Dakota. He survives her at the family home.

Christina is also survived by her daughter and sons: Alanna Kierston age 7, Ash James age 2 and Aiden Troy age 4 months. Christina is also survived by her brothers Louis Luvia Poitra of Artesia, NM, Terry Lee Poitra of Arizona and sister, Jaclyn Poitra of Owyhee, NV. Grandfather, Louis Roundpoint of Bullhead City, AZ, Great Grandfather, Howard Porter of Akwesasne, NY and many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends across the country.

Christina had been a resident of Lake Arthur, NM since 2007. She was a dedicated mother and wife who worked for the Department of Interior Bureau of Indian Affairs as a Law Enforcement Assistant at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Artesia, NM.
