Dao Koiner

KOINER, DAO V.No Services are scheduled for Dao V. Koiner, age 63, of Roswell, who passed away October 25, 2008.

Dao was born March 1, 1945 in Bangkok, Thailand to Sing and Dang Vena. They preceded her in death as well as her husband Silas Koiner, who passed away on June 11, 1987.

Dao is survived by her only son Steven Koiner and her companion of eighteen years, Marlin Gengenbach, both of Roswell.

Dao worked for many years as a Decorator for Christmas by Krebs. Thousands of Christmas Ornaments made with her artistic and talented hand decorations adorn Christmas Trees all over the world. She took immense pride in her work and her work ethic was beyond reproach.

The name Dao in Thai means Star and she certainly was considered a Star by her many friends.

Dao attended both Immanuel Lutheran and First United Methodist Churches.
