SMITH, DARLA KAY -- Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Monday, February 12, 2007 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Darla Kay Smith, age 64, of Roswell, who passed away February 6, 2007, at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Odel Farr of the Littlefield Church of Christ will conduct the service. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Darla Kay was born September 18, 1942 in Bokchito, Oklahoma, to T. H. and Christine McMennamy Smith. Both parents preceded her in death, and a brother, Wendell Smith..

She was a member of the Church of Christ, and had been the caregiver for her parents and for her Aunt Thelma.

Survivors include a sister, Jackie Williams of Roswell, and 3 brothers; Coy Smith and his wife Clydean of Roswell, Connie Mac Smith and his wife Sheila of Roswell, and Merle Smith of Littleton, Colorado, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kay was a special aunt to Daniel Smith and his wife Melissa, and their children, Bryson, Ashton and Daci.

Pallbearers will be Chad Smith, and Alex Roberson, Amanda Roberson, Dan Smith, Bryson Smith and Shane Tallant.

There will be a family viewing from 6 pm to 7 pm, Sunday, February 11, 2007, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
