Darlene Rhoads

RHOADS DARLENE Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Waymaker Church for Darlene Rhoads, age 73 of Roswell who passed away on January 16, 2013 at her residence. Pastor Mike Knowlton with Waymaker Church will officiate.

Darlene was born September 15, 1939 in Roswell to Jesse and Vada Pack. They have preceded her in death as well as her brothers: Eston, Denzil, Verdis, and Willie sisters: Penzil and Beatrice

Darlene is survived by her husband: Robert Rhoads of the family home two sons: Richard and Larry Rhoads four brothers:, J. E., Jesse, Jimmy, and Doug Pack two sisters: Dreta Hutsell, and Ruby Rhoads six grandchildren: Christa Jantz and her husband Jonathan, Rodrick Rhoads and his wife Patti, Abbie Rhoads, Allison Rhoads, Kara Martinez and her husband E.J. and Westin Rhoads and his wife Michelle twelve great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Coming from a large family, sometimes its difficult to figure out just where you fit in this world, but Darlene seemed to know from the beginning that the purpose of her life was to live a life of purpose and commitment to God and others. She walked out her life of purpose by loving her husband, family, people, and Gods creation.

Pallbearers will be Westin Rhoads, Rodrick Rhoads, E.J. Martinez, Jonathan Jantz, Jamie Pack, Vernon Rhoads and Kevin Rhoads.
