Darrell Dixon

DIXON, DARRELLDarrell Levi Dixon passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. He will lie in state on Monday, January 20, 2014.

Darrell, age 58, was born on September 30, 1955 in Peoria, Illinois to James Levi Dixon and Shirley May Sholl.

He spent his career as a machinist and was very talented with design, and could make metal do wondrous things. He was also a very patient teacher and loved to share his talent with anyone that was willing.

Preceding him in death were his father and mother, a brother: James Levi Dixon Jr., a sister: Diane Lee Apodaca, and a brotherinlaw: Acell Young.

Darrell is survived by his wife, Mary of the home son: Darrell James Dixon and his wife DeedreeAnn of Roswell stepdaughters: Cindy Eddy of Westminster, Colorado and Michelle Gordan and her husband Dave of Brighton, Colorado StepSon: Joe Bookhamer of Roswell. He is also survived by sister: Sheila Young of Roswell and Teresa Medina of Pueblo, Colorado, ExWife: Charlot Dixon of Roswell also numerous grandkids, nieces and nephews.
