David Harris

HARRIS, DAVID- David Harris, age 79, passed away on June 22, 2018 after a prolonged illness at home, and surrounded by his loving family. He was born to John Henry and Helen Harris on November 10, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA.

David graduated from Bartram High School, and honorably served in the U. S. Navy, receiving the rank of Boatswain's Mate First Class. David worked at several driving positions in his lifetime, from the US Postal Service to Pecos Trails Handi-Van transport for the City of Roswell.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, his four children, and multiple grandchildren.
David had treasured friends, and also enjoyed assisting his clients while serving the community of Roswell, NM. He loved to fish, watch baseball and basketball, and to pass on golden nuggets of wisdom and humor to those he knew.

A Private Memorial will be held in his hometown, to celebrate his life and his accomplishments, by his family at a later date. Arrangements for the Memorial are yet to be determined.
