David Mayhew

MAYHEW, FRANKGraveside services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Friday, August 24, 2007, at Memory Lawn Memorial Park for Frank Mayhew, age 92, of San Rafael, CA who passed away August 19, 2007 at Kaiser Foundation Hospital, in San Rafael, CA. The Roswell Masonic Low 12 will officiate. All master masons please assemble at Memory Lawn Cemetery at 10:30 a.m.

Frank was born May 31, 1915 in Yuma, Arizona to Perry and Eliza Jane Mayhew. They both have preceded him in death, as well as his wife Margaret Smith Mayhew, a former resident of Roswell.

Frank is survived by two sons: Henry Mayhew and his wife Deborah of Corona Del Mar, CA, Allen Mayhew of Goleta CA; Daughter: Nancy Weirum and her husband Brian of Woodacre, CA; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Frank served his country in the Army in WW II, receiving a commendation for heroism and was a sergeant in the Battle of the Bulge in Germany. After his service in the military, he worked for Firestone Tire Rubber Co. for 27 years as an electrician. Frank was of the Presbyterian Faith and a 50-year mason and was Master of Rising Light Lodge in Huntington Park, California. Most recently, he was a member of the Las Vegas, Nevada, Lodge 32.
