David Robinson

ROBINSON, DAVID D.Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2013 at 16 Yakima Rd in Dexter for David D. Robinson, age 72, of Midway, New Mexico, who passed away on March 14, 2013.
David D. Robinson was born on September 16, 1940 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Charles and Adella Robinson. They have both preceded him in death, as well as a daughter: Dawuda RobinsonRashad in 2005.
He married Hikama RobinsonRashad on August 25, 1982 in Fairfax County, Virginia. She survives him at the family home.
He is also survived by sons: Drake and Kisha Simmons, Abdul and Doris Rashad, Hakim and Jessica Rashad, and Hasson Rashad. daughters: Judy Robinson, Davida and Phillip Alladin, Davina and Takeo Soga, and Jamila and Debvon WorthyRashad, and 27 grandchildren and 6 greatgrandchildren.
He obtained an Associates Degree, worked as a truck driver for 25 years and at Walmart in maintenance for 7 years. He loved life to the fullest, and never asked more from anyone else than he was willing to give. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren very much. Per his wishes, he wants his memorial service to be a time of music, humor, and good time memories. He also wants his favorite Torah message read and for everyone to have a shot of Jim Bean.
He was a member of the Beytshalom.
