David Joe Stogden

David Stogden was called home to our Lord on Thursday, August 15, 2024. David was born October 3,1946 to Willie Stogden and Mary Stogden in Roswell, NM. He retired from the State of New Mexico. David was also a foster parent. He enjoyed fishing, planting trees, flowers and watching westerns and Perry Mason. He married the love of his life and sweetheart, Delia, on February 28,1965. She survives him in their family home.

Others left to cherish his memory are his Daughter Sophia Tidwell and Husband Brad. Sons Maxmiranda Stogden, Christopher Stogden and wife Megan. Granddaughters Crystal Stogden and LaDonna Jennings. As well as David’s great Grandchildren Angel, Hunter, Christopher, Skyler, Makhi, Rebecca and Christian. 

 He is proceeded in death by his father and mother Willie and Mary Stogden; Brother George Stogden and Jimmy Stogden; Sisters Virginia and Lupe; And his father in-law and mother in-law, Max and Josephine Miranda.

 The pallbearers will be Brad Tidwell, Christopher Stogden, Angel Stogden, Makhi Stogden, Maxmiranda Stogden and Zerick Woods.

 Honor pallbearers will be his great Grandchildren.

There will be a visitation on Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 5 pm-7 pm with the Rosery to follow at 7pm at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. A Mass will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church at 2pm followed by a burial at South Park Cemetery.
