BARNETT, DELORACE JEAN TUDY Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at South Park Cemetery for Delorace Jean Tudy Barnett, age 69, of Roswell who passed away on August 26, 2014. Reverend Bobby Barnett of Trinity House of Praise will officiate.

Visitation will be held at LaGrone Funeral Chapel from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 1, 2014.
Tudy was born February 26, 1945, in Quanaha, Texas to Roscoe Thomas Daniel and Flora Dale Hubbard Daniel. They have preceded her in death.
Tudy married Glenn Barnett on June 11, 1965 in Roswell, NM. He survives her at the family home.
Tudy is survived by her son: Tommy Barnett and his wife Twilla of Roswell daughter: Glenda Martinez of Roswell brothers: Bill Daniel and his wife Judy, Charles Daniel and his wife Nellie and Rodger Daniel all of Roswell sister: Alice Jane Lockaby and her husband Fred of Clyde, TX Grandchildren: Daniel Martinez and his wife Sarah, Erik Martinez, Layne Sanders, Kyle Barnett and Luke Sanders great grandchildren: Elexes Martinez, Kassidy Martinez and Jr. Martinez and her best friend Barbara Cullins.
Tudys husband was the love of her life. She loved the outdoors and camping. She loved all her family and grandbabies they were her pride and joy. Tudy was known as Mena to her grandchildren. The last thing she always told everyone was that she loved them. She would give up herself to help others. Tudy loved to do laundry. Laundry was her way to contribute to everyday chores. She loved all holidays, Christmas was her favorite. She was a strong woman and a blessing to family. She touched everybody she came across.
Tudy family was her true strength, her heart was so full of love. She always touched people with her love and kindness. Moms favorite thing was to spend time with dad and he was her best friend, the true love of her life, he was her boyfriend since 3rd grade. Her life was full of pain and sickness but through it all her love showed through. She was so strong and quitting was never an option. Momma was a true warrior. She had a true faith and trust in the Lord. The love momma and daddy had was a true gift. Momma inspired our lives with her strength, courage and endurance. A true blessing to all who she encountered. Momma enjoyed life.
Tudys presence will be greatly missed.
