Diana Salas

Diana Patricia Salas, 57 of Roswell, passed away in Albuquerque, NM on Saturday, November 4, 2017. A visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, November 10, 2017 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM, Saturday, November 11, 2017 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at South Park Cemetery. Pastor Timothy Parker officiating.

Diana was born on November 23, 1959 in Tucumcari, NM to Domiciano (Dome) Romero and Mary Lucy Anaya Romero. Diana graduated from Goddard High School in 1978. She married Ernest Salas on February 11th, 1987.

Diana was employed by Levi Strauss for many years before their closing. She later worked for IHOP and most recently at the Chisum Travel Center in Roswell, NM. She enjoyed walking and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a hard worker and deeply loved her family and would do anything for them. She had a pure and honest heart and was always genuine in her actions and deeds.

She is preceded in death by her father Domiciano (Dome) Romero and her brother David Romero.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest Salas of Roswell, NM; her daughter, Brenda and her husband, Chris Ortiz of Roswell, NM and their daughters, Natalie and Aubrey; her daughter, Sara Salas of Roswell, NM and her children, Priscilla, Nayomee, and Arian; her daughter, Rebecca Salas of Fort Worth, TX, and her son Daven; her mother, Mary Lucy Romero of Roswell, NM and her step-father Juan Jaramillo of Roswell, NM; her sister, Ruth and her husband, Ed Nabeel David of Roswell, NM and their son Peyton.
