MASON, DONALD SCOTT -- Donald Scott Mason was born in Roswell, NM to Donald Louis Mason and Peggy Vowell Mason. God brought him home, 40 years later, on Monday, July 28, 2008. Scott was a loving father and husband, cherished son, loved brother, and faithful friend. He had a zest for life and had a great sense of humor. He was a wonderful father and loved his children very much. We love you Scott Well miss your presence but you will remain in our hearts and the memories weve shared will be with us until we meet again. Scott is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lowell and Lydia Mason and maternal grandparents, Ott and Iris Vowell; and uncles, Vaughn Lee Marler and Buddy Mason. He is survived by his loving wife, Marcie; his beloved children, Amy, Adam, and Kyle; his parents, Don and Peggy Mason; siblings, Steve Mason and wife, Debbie and daughter, Annie, Stewart Mason and wife, Laurie and sons, Matthew and Michael, and Amy Scifres and husband, Jody and children, Cory and Shelby; aunts and uncles, Les Mason, Wayne Mason and wife, Mollie, Joy Campbell and husband, Ken, Jim Mason and wife, Thalia, Patsy Gloor and husband, Billy Ray, and Laine Vowell and wife, Dabareh; cousins, Roger, Phyllis, Lucky, Larry Paul Punk, Janelle, Jerry Wayne, Carrie Lynn, Delinda, Robert, Tadd, Tammy, Ty, Timothy, Leticia, Chris, Cami, and Cody, and their families. He is also survived by a multitude of friends who he loved and will miss him. You are our friends too. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 2 at 11:00 a.m. at South Park Cemetery.
