Doris Dove

DOVE, DORIS JEAN - Services are scheduled for Wednesday, January 10, 2007, at

LaGrone Funeral Chapel at 2:00 P.M., for Doris Jean Dove, age 89, of Roswell, who passed away January 5, 2007 at a local hospital.. Rev. Ben Talley of Calvary Baptist Church will officiate with burial at Memory Lawn Cemetery.

Doris was born January 28, 1917 in Albuquerque, NM, to Phillip Wall and Adelaide Andrews Wall, who have preceded her in death. Doris was also preceded in death by her first husband, Karl Korky Coen in 1965. They were owners of Korkys Motorcycle Shop in Roswell since 1946.

She was a life member of the American Motorcycle Association.

Doris married Robert F. Dove 0n January 27, 1971 in Juarez, Mexico.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Dove of the home; son, Ralph Coen and his wife Cleta of Roswell,; three Grandchildren, Terressa Yancey and her husband Troy of Roswell, Jan Ricar and husband Steve of Rio Rancho, NM, and Rebecca Postlewaite of Amarillo, Texas; five Grea tGrandchildren, Briana Spiller and husband Michael of Rio Rancho, NM, Megan Yancey of Roswell, Austin Postlewaite and Even Postlewaite of Amarillo, Tx and Shay Robert Ricar of Oregon; and one Great-great Grandchild, Mike Spiller. As well as a number of nieces and nephews in Albuquerque and Arizonia.

Pallbearers will be: Steven Ricar, Troy Yancey, Alan Reed, Don Leavell, Darvin Crone and Steve Markl.

Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
