Dorothy Warren

WARREN, DOROTHY DOWNS -- Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Twin Oaks Memorial Park of Artesia for Dorothy Downs Warren, age 82, of Roswell, who passed away March 28, 2007 at a local nursing center. Pastor David Downs of Sunrise Baptist Church in El Paso, Texas will officiate.

Dorothy was born October 25, 1924 in Henderson, Texas to Otis and Alice Henderson Bryant. She is preceded in death by husband Clifford Downs in 1962 and husband Calvin Warren in 1991, also two brothers, Jim Bryant and Dean Bryant

Survivors include two sisters: Helen Jobe of Carlsbad and Betty Bolt of Mesa, AZ; three children: Phil Downs of Roswell, Linda Hulse of Muleshoe, Texas and David Downs of El Paso, TX; Dorothy is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was a long time resident of Roswell and Artesia New Mexico. Dorothy enjoyed working in her church and was a member of First Baptist Church of Artesia
