PARKER, EDDIE DEAN A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church of Roswell for Eddie Dean Parker, age 61 who passed away on May 25, 2009. The Rev. Artis Allen of Mt Gilead Baptist Church will officiate. Eddie was cremated according to his wishes.

Eddie Dean Parker was born April 18, 1948 in Roswell, New Mexico. He was the son of Bernett J. and Gladys Parker. He was preceded in death by one sister Eva Mae parker. He is survived by his parents, Bernett and Gladys Parker of Roswell; sister: Pauline Parker McDowell of Hanford, California; brothers: Paul Parker, Samuel Parker, Raymond Parker, Orlando Parker, William Parker, all of Roswell, Jackie Parker of Hidleburg, Germany and Milton Parker of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Several nieces and nephews.

Eddie served in the U. S. Army Stationed in Nurenburg, Germany from 1967 to 1969.
