Edmond Herring

A graveside service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, July 24, 2015 at South Park Cemetery for Edmond "Buddy" Herring, age 46, who passed away on July 19, 2015.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday, July 23, 2015 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel in Roswell, NM.

Buddy was born to Edmond "Bud" and Ann Herring on August 31, 1968 in Roswell, NM.

Buddy was raised in Roswell and attended Goddard High School. He went into the family beer distributing business working for his father at Herring Distributing Company in Roswell. Buddy eventually retired to Newport Beach, CA after the Anheuser-Busch distributorship was sold.

He loved the ocean, sun and sand and called Southern California home for a decade before returning to Ruidoso and his beloved mountains. Buddy was an extraordinary man full of love and laughter. He was a cherished and adored Father. He was a loyal friend. He was kind and generous to everyone who knew him and he never met a stranger. He made us all laugh harder than anyone else could, he showed us the true meaning of limitless generosity and his example of unconditional love will endure with us for all time.

Buddy is preceded in death by his parents and a younger brother, Michael James Herring.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his only child; son, Skyler Hayes Herring of Dallas, TX; and a sister, Debra Ann Herring of Santa Barbara, CA.

Pallbearers will be David Grill, Gayland Hargrove, Jeff Turner, James Savedra and Darrin Peno.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Bruce "Father Time"
