Eleanor Dilbeck

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Monday, January 9, 2012 at Country Club Road Church of Christ for Eleanor Dilbeck, age 91, of Roswell, who passed away on January 5, 2012. Doug Austin of Country Club Road Church of Christ will officiate with interment to follow at South Park Cemetery.

Eleanor was born September 14, 1920 in Glencoe, Oklahoma to Walter and Marjorie Trompler. They have preceded her in death as well as two brothers and five sisters.
Eleanor married Elton Dilbeck on December 25, 1941 in Rocky, OK. He survives her at the family home.

Survivors include a son: Robert Dilbeck of Phoenix, AZ daughter: Donna Hamilton of Park City, MT brothers: Donald Trompler of San Antonio, TX and Fred Trompler of Seattle WA sisters: Vicky Davis of Farmers Branch, TX, Caroline Bullock of Pfugerville, TX and Esther De Witt of Glencoe, OK. two grandchildren and five great grandchildren also two greatgreat grandchildren.

Eleanor was a retired school teacher. She was a member of the Country Club Road Church of Christ Church. Eleanor will be greatly missed, not only by her family but by all the lives she touched with her kindness with her flowers that she shared with the community. Rich or poor, she was always eager to help anyone.

Pallbearers will be Glen Browning, Bob Cates, Tim Dunnahoo, Jerry McCormack, Lee Rogers, David West and Jerry LaFrance.
