Elizabeth Binns Gorman was born in Cochran, California on 121417 and was the only daughter of Walter Una Catherine Binns. She had two older brothers, Winfred Roy sons, Eddy and Glenn, W.B. sons, Robert, Bill, John and two younger, Burl son, Jim and Kenneth who all preceded her in death. She had fond memories of her brothers and growing up working at the Binns Mercantile Store on East 2nd and spending summers with friends in East Ground Plains.

She graduated from Roswell High School and attended Business College before leaving to work as a secretary in Amarillo. While there she met Wayne Gorman and they were married Nov. 13, 1940. They moved back to Roswell and Wayne Junior was born in 1942.

They lived in Dallas where Cathy Lu was born in 1950 and then to Hot Springs, AR where Gary Kipling was born in 1957; he also preceded her in death.

Returning to Roswell in 1958 Elizabeth was an executive secretary for several major oil corporations and local oil companies. She worked for LC Harris from 1969 till her retirement in 1987. She was active in Desk Derrick, serving in many offices and forged many lifelong friends who bowled, traveled and played bridge. She also volunteered countless hours for non-profit organizations, the American Red Cross and Alzheimer's Association to name two. As a lifelong member of First Baptist Church she served as secretary and outreach coordinator for the children's department and touched many young lives for Christ.

As a stay-at-home Mima she was always happy to have the grandchildren Diana Arnold, Elizabeth Gorman, Tyson Murphy, Christan Cole, and Jerohn Gorman and great-grandchildren Noah, Michaela, Micah, Benjamin, HaleyBeth, Lexi, Tori, Cami, Justin, Gavin, Tayla, Austin, Jackson, Avory and Sydney who loved their MiMa and she loved them, never missing a birthday or celebration.

Those who survive her, are her extended family and spouses that loved her so well for the many acts of kindness she bestowed; Gloria Gorman, Mary Bryant-Gorman, Tasha Gorman, Don Murphy, Lacey Murphy, Barbara Crane, Stephanie Barnett, John Arnold, Michael Cole and Suzi Wagoner.
