Elizabeth was born December 7, 1929 in Corpus Christi, Texas to John Clyde and Molly Hermann. She is preceded in death by her parents, as well as a sisters, Mary Anne Mullins, Juanita Naomi and a brother John Hermann.

She was the beloved sister of Bettie Witt who survives her in Roswell. She is also survived by three daughters: Molly Jennings and her husband Mike of Midland, Texas, Jane Jones and her husband Dan of Green River, Wyoming and Sylvia Murphey and her husband Jeff of Roswell, New Mexico. Her two nephews: Franklin Supercinski and wife Becky of Longview, Texas, and Ronnie Supercinski and his wife Mary Kay of Hamilton, Texas.

Elizabeth was known to family and friends as Libby. She was born with a gift of taking care of the sick, so it was only natural that she would pursue a career in nursing. She graduated from Loretto Academy in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and continued her education in St., Louis, Missouri, where she graduated from St. Johns Hospital. Libby was a dedicated registered nurse and worked for many years at both Eastern New Mexico Medical Center and at St. Marys Hospital. She had a special calling to nurse in the Pediatric Unit of St. Marys and gave unselfishly her abilities, time and talent to those in need. She was a wonderful and loving mother and a bright light in the lives of many residents at Mission Arch. Libby was a comfort to many with her loving touch, kind words and her warm smile.

Family requests that memorials be made to Eastern New Mexico Medical Center Pediatrics Unit.
