Ellen Mcvicker-Beck

MCVICKER-BECK, ELLEN D. -- Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Thursday, December 6, 2007 at South Park Cemetery for Ellen D. McVicker-Beck, age 89, of Roswell, who passed away December 2, 2007 at her residence. Robert Moore of South Main Church of Christ will officiate.

Ellen was born March 16, 1918 in Dexter, New Mexico to Duncan and Hatte McVicker. They have preceded her in death as well as her husband Floyd Beck, three brothers, Fred, Dolph and Ralph, Eight sisters, Lucy, Lee, Pearl, Bill, Thyra, Doris, Mary and Ethlyn

Ellen married Floyd Beck on February 12, 1949 in Roswell.

Survivors include one son: Charles Duncan Beck and his wife Kathleen; one daughter: Martha S. Harrington and her husband Kenneth; six grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Ellen was a member of the United States Army Air Corps during the 2nd world war. She then was a housewife.
