Emilia Cardinuto

CARDINUTO, EMILIA M. Services will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church, 30 Schoolhouse Rd., in Whiting, New Jersey on November 15, 2010 at 10:45 a.m., for Emilia M. Cardinuto, 92 of Whiting, NJ, who passed away October 25, 2010. Interment will follow at Whiting Memorial Park, 600 Route 530 in Whiting, New Jersey.

Emilia was born on April 7, 1918 in New York, New York to Biagio and Gaitana Mancini, who have preceded her in death.

On May 13, 1945, she married Thomas J. Cardinuto at St. Lucys Church at New York, New York, who has preceded her in death.

She is also survived by two sons: Thomas J. and Maria Cardinuto and James Cardinuto and his wife Carol Cardinuto two grandchildren: Michael J. Cardinuto and Nicholas J. Cardinuto and his wife Melissa.

Emilia was a seamstress. She was of the Catholic faith, and a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. She was raised at the Holy Rosary Convent in Sparkhill, NY. Her favorite pastime was playing red white and blue Sevens Slot Machines. Emilia was the last survivor of six siblings. She was a resident of Roswell, NM for the past eight months. Emilia was a resident of Whiting, NJ from 1978 till 2010.
