Emily Pleitner

PLEITHER, EMILY MARTHA A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church for Emily Martha Pleitner, age 90, of Roswell, who passed away June 28, 2007 at her home.

Emily was born June 28, 1917 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Felix and Anastasia Mudlaff Klafka. Both parents preceded her in death as well as a son, Thomas Czechorski and brothers Roman, Anthony, Frank and Jake Klafka; sisters, Anna Kiedrowski, Agnes Wentland, Irene Zalewski and Frances Jakubowski.

She married Louis Czechorski on May 25, 1940, and he passed away October 11, 1985. She later married Edward Pleitner on August 22, 1987, and he preceded her in death on March 4, 1994.

Survivors include two sons; Jerome Czechorski and his wife Sherry of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Donald Czechorski and his wife Lisa of Roswell, New Mexico; two daughters, Barbara Scheer of Roswell, New Mexico and Rose Pedro and her husband John of Doylestown, Ohio. Also surviving is a sister, Helen Morgan of Texas, daughter-in-law, Jeanine Czechorski of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Emily was a homemaker and was a Catholic. She was a member of the Womens Society of St. Peters, the Catholic Daughters of America, and was a Casa Maria Volunteer for many years. She was also a Candy Striper for St. Marys Hospital.
